We have to be active in the word because we have an active enemy. The devil prowls LIKE a hungry lion- he’s not a lion. Jesus is the lion of the tribe of Judah. Yet the enemy can only portray an imitation of what is real and true. The enemy has no power, in the name of Jesus. When we begin to step out in obedience, there’s an automatic target placed on our back. We have something of value that the enemy wants to take from us. When we pick up the sword we are in battle. Yet not a battle here on earth but one in the spiritual realm. “ The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” ( John 10:10) the enemy’s goal is for us to stop following God. The enemy knows what God is capable of doing through us. It’s us that don’t understand what God can do through us. GENZ, lets be a generation not only sold out to living for Jesus but one that carries the weapon of prayer. Let’s be a generation not devoted to hype but instead the word of God. We have to become active in the word because we have an ACTIVE enemy.
